No. 36 Reggie Upshaw, F, Walter Tigers Tubingen
2017-2018 Stats: 14.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 39.1 3P%
Despite his newly-formed German basketball club going 1-32 this past season, Reggie Upshaw Jr. is still a very good player. Think of him as though he’s the best player for the Cleveland Browns.
Upshaw led one of the biggest upsets in college basketball history a few seasons ago, when his Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders (that’s a mouthful) knocked off the second-seeded Michigan State Spartans in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. Upshaw was the game’s MVP, recording 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Now, Upshaw is doing big things in the Germany-based Basketball Bundesliga, the highest-tier basketball league in Germany.
He’ll be a solid option for the Clippers Summer League team, and might impress enough to earn a two-way deal from another NBA team.
