Giving the German Guard a Go

Atlanta Hawks receive: SF Danilo Gallinari, 2018 12th overall pick
LA Clippers receive: PG Dennis Schroder, SG Tyler Dorsey, 2018 19th overall pick, 30th overall pick

The Hawks are in an interesting spot. Dennis Schroder could soon be incriminated and locked away in prison on assault charges. He has deleted everything related to the Atlanta Hawks in his Instagram and says he wants to win somewhere. The Hawks need to trade him. They have also expressed interest in adding a second lottery pick near the end in exchange for their 19th overall pick.

The Clippers get a player who could be their point guard for the future and get rid of Danilo Gallinari’s outrageous contract. Also, the Clippers would add two more first round picks later on that could be used to pick up more young players.
