San Antonio Spurs receive: SF/PF Tobias Harris, C DeAndre Jordan, 2018 13th overall draft pick
LA Clippers receive: SF Kawhi Leonard, C Pau Gasol, 2018 18th overall draft pick

You had to see this coming. Kawhi Leonard requested a trade last week, with LA being his destination of choice. Here, San Antonio would get a young small forward to take Leonard’s place. Also, they’d acquire a paint presence in DeAndre Jordan. They could get rid of Pau Gasol horrible contract and possibly continue to contend until Hall of Fame coach, Gregg Popovich retires. For the Clippers, it’s obvious: we get a top three player when healthy.

Also, the Clippers would lose their pick, only move down five spots, where many good players are still projected to be. LAC would likely have to give up both picks, but concerns on the severity of Leonard’s injuries will keep teams from giving up too much. If the Clippers can get Kawhi while managing to keep two first round picks, I think this trade is a no-brainer.
