Messing Up Memphis
Memphis Grizzlies receive: SF/PF Tobias Harris, C Boban Marjanovic
LA Clippers receive: SF Chandler Parsons, 2018 4th overall draft pick
This is a similar trade to trade one, but slightly more realistic. Most teams likely are waving their picks around all willy-nilly. The Grizzlies refuse to rebuild, failing to trade Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, and Tyreke Evans despite being terrible last season. Tobias Harris will give them an efficient young player and let them get rid of Chandler Parson’s monstrous contract.
This could help the Clipper start their rebuild with a young player like Jaren Jackson Jr or Luka Doncic and let the Grizzlies do as they wish and be a perennial seventh seed.
