Dealing with Dallas

Dallas Mavericks receive: SF/PF Tobias Harris, C Boban Marjanovic, 2018 12th overall draft pick
LA Clippers receive: SF Harrison Barnes, 2018 5th overall draft pick

In this trade, the Clippers will get Harrison Barnes, who has a very similar play style to Tobias Harris. As to who is the better of the two, that’s up in the air. I, and likely most people, think Tobias is better. He’s shown improvement every year and has put up the same numbers as Barnes while not always being the main guy on his team, like Barnes is for Dallas. Harris is also slightly younger. It’s only by a few months, but young nonetheless.
This would give Dallas a better player and let them get rid of Barnes’s massive contract. The pick swap would let Dallas keep a lottery pick and give the Clippers a higher selection so they could choose Michael Porter Jr or Luka Doncic, both of whom have received interest from LAC.
