Pick #12: Dario Saric

With the 12th pick in the 2014 draft, the Orlando Magic selected Dario Saric before trading his draft rights to the Philadelphia 76ers. The former Adriatic League Final Four MVP came to the U.S. for the 2016-2017 season, signing with the 76ers and earning All-Rookie First Team honors. The combo forward is a versatile player who can score, pass and shoot from three. He was a solid starter on a playoff team and provides flexibility on offense.

The Clippers may not have the patience the 76ers had with Saric during The Process, but waiting two years for a key starter in return at #12 seems to have worked out so far in Philly.

Pick #13: Zach LaVine

Zach LaVine was selected 13th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2014. The two-time Slam Dunk Contest champion’s worth really depends on what you value. If someone who can get buckets, LaVine is your guy. If you value efficiency and defense, you might want to look elsewhere. LaVine was traded to Chicago in the Jimmy Butler trade and averaged 16.7 points a game coming off a torn ACL surgery.

At just 23-years-old, LaVine has already proven that if healthy, he will be a solid scorer for years to come. However, his lack of efficiency, inconsistency from three and overall incompleteness is probably not what the Clippers will be looking for at 13 come Thursday.
