What happens with DeAndre Jordan?

This question is a doozy. The answer will likely affect what the Clippers do for the rest of the offseason. For those unaware, DeAndre Jordan has a player option for next season and has yet to publicly indicate whether or not he will use it or if he even wants to be with the team.

Jordan reportedly wants a max deal, which the Clippers don’t seem willing to offer, especially after ridding themselves of Blake Griffin’s similar deal. If DJ ends up being willing to take a paycut, the team would likely welcome him back.

If not, it’s bon voyage to the final core member of Lob City. If the Clips are able to flip DJ in a sign-and-trade, the return could be interesting. Not many teams have cap space to outright sign DJ, so this could be the most likely scenario.
