Skills

As referenced by his high school statistics, Robinson is a gifted shot blocker and scorer. He’s also a very mobile big, that can run the floor much better than most 7-footers can.

On the offensive side of the floor, Robinson projects as an elite lob target, as well as a floor spacer. He has excellent hands above the rim, and in recent workouts has shown solid touch beyond the arc. His three-point shooting will likely be more of a project than a polished ability upon arrival in the NBA, but his mid-range and post game is still impressive enough to carry him while his outside shot develops.

Here’s a clip of him throwing some lobs down, courtesy of Schmitz.

Here’s another of Robinson knocking down some outside shots:

Robinson shows the most upside on the defensive side of the floor. With his length and mobility, he can close out on outside shooters in a mere moment and send their shots back into the seats. He’s also got plenty of potential as an interior defender, especially under the advisement of Doc Rivers. Considering what he was able to do with Jordan, Robinson could inherit the same skillset and then some.
