Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk — 20, SG/SF, Kansas

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is an interesting prospect for several reasons. Besides having the best name in the draft, Mykhailiuk is also the most experienced 20-year-old in this year’s class. He’ll turn 21 in less than two weeks, but that’s still young for someone who played all four years of college ball at Kansas.

Mykhailiuk is a specialist, and nothing more. He’s essentially a more athletically gifted Eric Piatkowski. He shot 44.4% from deep in his final season at Kansas on nearly 7 attempts per game, but outside of his offensive production, there’s not much there for Mykhailiuk.

Measuring 6-8 with a 6-5 wingspan, he’ll likely be a non-factor on defense — a negative wingspan (one shorter than one’s own height) is cause for concern. But the Clippers need three point shooting, and there’s hardly a more efficient deep ball threat in the class than Mykhailiuk.

There’s a chance he’ll slide out of the draft altogether, which would make him one of the more coveted undrafted free agents. If the Clippers are serious about adding offensive firepower to the bench, Svi could be a solid replacement over Sam Dekker.
