Outstanding Orlando Trade

Orlando Magic receive: DeAndre Jordan, Milos Teodosic, Patrick Beverley, 2018 12th overall pick, 2018 13th overall pick

LA Clippers receive: Nikola Vucevic, Terrence Ross, Jonathon Simmons, Jonathan Isaac, 2018 6th overall pick

The Orlando Magic have seemingly been rebuilding for eons at this point and it’s having a bad effect on the fans. I was at a Magic game back in March and the Amway Center was basically empty. Orlando fans are tired of losing and not seeing the best returns in the draft. That’s why this deal works. Orlando would receive two lottery picks and have DJ electrifying the crowd. The DJ-Fournier screen-and-roll would be amazing. In this deep draft, they would land two new young players to rejuvenate their late-2000’s success.

LAC would get solid pieces to either flip for more picks or to build on and make more playoff runs. Vucevic and Simmons are both underrated at their positions. Isaac didn’t have the best rookie season, but his length, scoring, and defense make him a potential future do-it-all superstar. The sixth overall pick will be and improvement over the 12th and 13th and secure that the Clippers can add one of the top players in the draft, whether it Mohamed Bamba, Trae Young, or Jaren Jackson Jr.
