A Deal with D.C.

Washington Wizards receive: DeAndre Jordan, Patrick Beverley, 2018 12th overall pick

LA Clippers receive: Otto Porter, Kelly Oubre, 2018 15th overall pick

The Wizards are a very hot-and-cold team. In 2015, they were the five seed and fought the Hawks in a very entertaining second round series. In 2016 they missed the playoffs entirely and had previously given away their lottery pick. In 2017, they had another very entertaining series against the Celtics that went seven games in the second round. This year, they landed the eight seed and were eliminated in the first round. Something needs to change if they wish to escape mediocrity. DeAndre is massive improvement over their current centers, Marcin Gortat and Ian Mahinmi. Patrick Beverley would give their bench some kick. A trade involving these two would at least make Washington better defensively.

In this trade, the Clippers would get two young players to kick start their rebuild. Otto Porter and Tobias Harris would be a hopeful prospects at the forward spots and Kelly Oubre would be a great sixth man one Lou Williams leaves. The two teams would swap picks this year, just to make it a tad sweeter for Washington.
