Prospects from Portland

Portland Trailblazers receive: DeAndre Jordan, 2020 second round pick (via CLE)

LA Clippers receive: Zach Collins, Caleb Swanigan, Maurice Harkless, Al-Farouq Aminu

Here, the Clippers would sign and trade their longest tenured player. The Trailblazers, after an embarrassing first round sweep, are in dire need of a defensive presence in the paint, and DJ does just that. Also, they would get rid of the bad contract of Maurice Harkless.

The Clippers would get a return on DJ, rather than possibly watching him walk for nothing. Zach Collins wasn’t exactly a star in his rookie year, but he and Caleb Swanigan have tremendous potential and could be building blocks for the future. Also, Al-Farouq Aminu would find himself back with the team that selected him eight overall in the 2010 draft.
