12. LA Clippers (via DET): Wendell Carter Jr, PF/C, Duke

Wendell Carter Jr is one of the most slept on prospects in this draft, likely due to being teammates with Marvin Bagley III. Carter skill set can be compared to Al Horford’s. Very round player on the offensive end, but also a very good rebounder and shot blocker. The Clippers should definitely pull the trigger on Carter. With DeAndre Jordan’s pending free agency, the big man and longest tenured Clipper ever could be leaving the team. We would be in dire need of a center because, even though you love him, Boban Marjanovic is not meant to start in the modern NBA. Carter is just as big as of beloved DJ and has a better offensive skill set. He could be a big part of the future of LAC.
