10. Philadelphia 76ers (via LAL): Mikal Bridges, SG/SF, Villanova

Mikal Bridges spent four years in college at Villanova, where he won National Championships two of those years. His senior year, however, is where his name began to gain traction in draft lottery talks. He is the best 3-and-D player in this draft. If he had been a one-and-done rather than playing four years in college, he would likely be taken much higher. Philadelphia is coming off of their best season since Allen Iverson and Dikembe Mutombo led the City of Brotherly Love to the Finals. Ben Simmons, likely Rookie of the Year and the future of the NBA along with defensive beast and Twitter legend, Joel Embiid are the guys in Phillie. Markelle Fultz wasn’t as good as hoped (albeit injured) in his rookie season, but should be valuable if he plays like he did in college. Dario Saric is the ideal stretch-four for the modern league. If Phillie gets another shooter for Simmons to pass out to, especially one who is young and also a good defender like Bridges, they will have one of the best starting five-man rotations.
