Now that the ping pong balls have been drawn, the Los Angeles Clippers will officially select at picks 12 and 13.

We can officially start to speculate on who the Los Angeles Clippers will take in the draft. With the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery now in the books, the Clippers will select at picks 12 and 13.

The Clippers’ consultant, Jerry West, represented the team at the draft lottery. With two picks, the Clippers look to add depth to their team while hoping one of the young bucks can blossom into a star.

With only about a 2% chance of landing a top pick, it’s no real surprise that the Clippers pick landed outside of the top 10. The team also managed to hang on to the Detroit Pistons’ pick. These will be the first lottery picks that the team has had since 2010, when they selected Al Farouq Aminu.

It’s still possible that the Clippers take these two picks and trade up in the draft. They could package both and grab a top pick if they fall in love with a player.

There’s also the possibility that the team packages these picks in order to bring a star in. Kawhi Leonard has been rumored to want out of San Antonio. With these two picks, the team could possibly put together a package for the All-Star small forward.

Now that we are 100% certain on the team’s picks, the real fun starts. Keep checking back here for any trade rumors and mock drafts as we inch closer and closer to the 2018 NBA Draft!
