In today’s episode, I cover the top storylines from the Los Angeles Clippers season, why Austin deserves your respect, and I preview the Conference Finals.

It was a wild season, Clipper Nation, and it took some time for me to fully get that. In spite of all the injuries, there were quite a few high moments that got my adrenaline rushing. Lou Williams‘s 50 point performance made the list, of course, but do you remember Jawun Evans‘s stellar performance against James Harden? How about C.J. Williams‘s game winner over the Hawks?

Rather than just covering the top 10 games, there are some non-game things thrown in as well. Listen in to see if you remember them all, or if you’ve got a different list.

Today’s weekly segment, Respect that Dude, tells why Austin Rivers deserves yours. For the time being, I’ll give you the short version.

Rivers has improved vastly during his time in Los Angeles, improving his scoring average by more than three points every season. In addition, his three point numbers have been higher than the league average. For the money he’s being paid, Rivers is a great guard for the price.

Lastly, I previewed each of the Conference Finals matchups. And yes, I know that the Eastern Conference matchup isn’t set yet, so I prepped for both possibilities. In addition to previewing each series, I gave my predictions for who I believe will advance to the NBA Finals as well.

Spoiler alert: Cavs – Warriors part four isn’t going to happen. Instead, I think the Houston Rockets will be making a Finals appearance instead.

On tomorrow’s show, I’ll be comparing Blake Griffin and Tobias Harris‘s respective seasons for the LA Clippers. In addition, I’ll talk about the NBA Draft Lottery and the messy situation in Toronto. Thanks for tuning in!
