After the Oklahoma City Thunder loss on Friday, several Los Angeles Clippers’ players took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the last play.

Several Los Angeles Clippers’ players took to Twitter on Friday night after the Oklahoma City Thunder lost their final game to the Utah Jazz.

Friday night’s contest between the Thunder and the Jazz was an exciting one. With his team down three and only 24 seconds left in the game, Paul George pump faked and pulled up from deep. Jazz center Rudy Gobert bit on the pump fake and PG jumped into him in order to draw the foul.

However, much to his dismay, there was no whistle and he airballed the shot. The Jazz recovered the rebound and sealed the game and series with a couple of free throws.

But was George fouled on the shot? Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley and Tobias Harris seemingly think so. Here’s what a they had to say:

While none of them blatantly said “Hey, that was definitely a foul!”, it’s pretty obvious that all three of them shared the same sentiment.

George may have initiated the contact, but the NBA has been calling that sort of foul all season long. It’s tough to see them swallow the whistle in a key moment like that.

One former Clipper was a little more expressive in his tweet.

Barnes has nothing to lose now by criticizing the refs. (Not that he wouldn’t have done it anyway prior to retirement) Based on these reactions, along with others across Twitter, it seems like the majority agree that George was fouled on the play. Oh well.
