Five Players the Los Angeles Clippers Could Trade Up For in the Draft
Mohamed Bamba, C, Texas
2017-2018 statistics: 12.9 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 3.7 BPG
Mohamed Bamba is a coveted prospect based almost solely on his size. At 7’0″ with an unofficial 8’0″ wingspan, he could easily become the NBA’s next Rudy Gobert, for obvious reasons.
Bamba is the draft’s best defender by a mile. He also could potentially fill a need for the Los Angeles Clippers, if Jordan is indeed on his way out.
His jumper needs work, but Bamba showed the ability to knock down triples at an effective rate, connecting on 27.5% in college.
He’s the center of the future, and with his elite size, this is the move the Clippers have to make if DJ walks.
