Number #9: Lou Williams Game-Winner vs Wizards
In a game that saw the Clips trail the Wizards, 13-0, in the first quarter, the Clips managed to stay in it and led to a wild finish. With 1 second left, Lou Williams would size up Bradley Beal before hitting the Game-Winning 3 that put the Clips up 113-112 vs Washington.
This game was back and fourth in the final minute as Austin Rivers and Bradley Beal traded go-ahead baskets, before Lou hit the dagger “BINGO!” as Ralph Lawler said. Lou had 35 points off the bench, but none were bigger than that 3. Danilo Gallinari contributed 25 points as the Clippers ended a 4 game losing skid. I believe it was this game that led to Lou becoming a fan-favorite of Clipper Nation.
