February 9th, Clippers vs Pistons, “First Game against Blake Griffin”

The Clippers headed to Detroit to take on Blake Griffin and the Pistons. Many assumed that Blake would get revenge in this game by getting the win, but the Clippers ultimately spoiled his chances. The Clippers wound up winning 108-95 as Lou Williams dropped 26 points. This game was a revenge game for Tobias Harris (12 points and 8 rebounds)  and Avery Bradley who added 10 points and 8 rebounds as well. This win definitely felt good as it was the first time the Clips faced Blake in another jersey.

February 14th, Clippers vs Celtics, “Clippers show no love to Boston on Valentines Day”

On this day, the Clippers entered their final game before the All Star Break. They would face the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics, on the road in what was a must win game to keep afloat in the West playoff race. The Clips would end up stunning the Celtics on their home floor as DeAndre Jordan scored a career-high 30 points and beat Boston 129-119.

March 9th, Cavs vs Clippers, “The Clips steal one from the King”

All eyes were on Staples Center as LeBron James and the Cavs entered LA hoping to beat the Clips. Lebron dropped his usual statline on the night with (25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists”. The Clippers didn’t back down from King James, as the starting lineup each all reached double figures in scoring, as well as 20 points from MontrezL Harrell off he bench. Sindarius Thornwell played very well scoring and guarding Lebron as the Clips would beat Cleveland 116-102.
