OAKLAND, CA – JANUARY 10: Lou Williams /

Number #1: Lou Will drops 50 on the Warriors at Oracle Arena

This game meant more than a regular game as it ended up breaking career highs and bad losing streaks. Lou Williams performance on this night, was by far the best out of any Clipper player this season.

Lou scored 27 of his 50 points in the 3rd Quarter as he was scorching hot from deep, shooting a career high 8 3-Pointers. Also adding in was Tyrone Wallace, who also produced a career-high 22 points off the bench.

The Clippers were without Blake Griffin and the Warriors were without Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. But this night was a historic night for Lou Williams and the Clippers as they would go on to win, 125-106.

The Clippers would snap an 11-game losing streak against the Warriors as they hadn’t beaten them since the 2014 Christmas Game Match-Up. Lou Will was the first Clippers player to score 50 points since Charles Smith did it in the 1990-91 NBA Season.
