Honorable Mentions (Pt.2)

Now, before we mention our Number #1 on the list we couldn’t forget about these games!

October 19th, Lonzo meets “Mr. 94 Feet”

In the first game of the Clippers regular season and Post-CP era, they faced the Lakers and new rookie PG Lonzo Ball. Lonzo’s First PG Match-Up? Mr. 94 Feet himself, Patrick Beverley.

Clipper Nation were anticipating this game as they wondered how this team would look and mesh together with the signings of Danilo Gallinari, Milos Teodosic, Willie Reed, and trades for Beverley, Lou Will, Montrezl Harrell, and Sam Dekker.

The new look Clips came out with a chip on their shoulder as they would defeat the Lakers, 108-92. This was truly the only glimpse we got of this team playing a whole game healthy.

November 25th, Blake Griffin Game-Winner over Kings

Blake Griffin scored 33 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 game winning field goal, as the Clippers would beat the Kings, 97-95.

March 4th, Clippers beat Nets in shootout at STAPLES Center

The Nets and Clippers each shot the ball really well in this one as it came down to (another) late game heroic shot from both Austin Rivers and Lou Williams.

Austin would hit a late 3-Pointer to put the Clips up 121-120 with 33 seconds left in the contest, before Lou Will iced the game with his patented fading left jumper as the Clips would prevail 123-120.
