Number #2: CP3’s First Game back at Staples vs Clippers

This game was a huge one for Clipper Nation and a classic game of this year’s NBA season. Chris Paul was returning to STAPLES Center to play the Clippers for the first time since he left for Houston in the Summer.

This was a battle between former teammates, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. Throughout the night, things got heated as the Clippers would take control of this game as trash talk was shared on and off the court as we know about (Secret Tunnel).

On this night, Blake Griffin showed that this was his team now and that he didn’t need CP with him. Of course, The Rockets were without James Harden, who would have been a major help to them in this game.

But, in this game, it was all about the Clippers revenge on CP as left them for the Rockets. The Clippers would win 113-102 as Blake had (29 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and shot 50% from the field) before getting ejected late in the 4th.
