Jabari Parker, 23, PF
2017-2018 statistics: 12.6 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 38.3 3PT%
If the Los Angeles Clippers choose to deal Danilo Gallinari this summer, Jabari Parker could be an excellent replacement. Alongside Tobias Harris, the duo would have the potential to be one of the best forward combinations in the league.
Though like Gallinari and countless Clippers that came before him, Parker shares a common Achilles heel.
Parker isn’t the poster boy for health, and not by a long shot. He missed a majority of his rookie campaign with a torn ACL, which he tore again in early 2017. Having recently returned for the Milwaukee Bucks, Parker looks to be the same player, although now with a much improved jumper and range.
But he knows as well as anybody that his future in Milwaukee is uncertain, and the Clippers could certainly use someone with his ability and potential.
Fans should be wary, given the Clippers’s history with oft-injured players. But for the right price, Parker could offer a lift and a future to Los Angeles.
