Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has begun workouts after getting surgery early in the season.

Patrick Beverley of the Los Angeles Clippers gave fans something to be excited for on Tuesday morning. The guard tweeted out that he had his first workout alongside Milos Teodosic.

This news is good for two reasons. The most obvious is that Bev is back on the court and getting work in for next season. His presence was missed on the court and having his tenacity and leadership on the court will prove to be huge for the team next season.

The other reason this is good news is due to the fact that the workout was with Milos. Milos’ season ended early when he re-aggravated his plantar fascia injury against the Milwaukee Bucks. The news that he is also back on the court is welcoming.

We only saw the duo on the court together for a handful of games, but they looked promising together. If the team hangs onto Avery Bradley, the Clippers could have the best defensive backcourt in the league. Like Bev, we didn’t get to see much of Bradley in a Clippers uniform. He opted to have surgery after just six games with the team.

The guard position has a lot of hype heading into next season with the return of both Beverley and Teodosic, the possibility of re-signing Bradley and Austin Rivers, assumed Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams, the promise of Sindarius Thornwell and Jawun Evans and the recent signing of C.J. Williams.
