LAC Receives: Kawhi Leonard

SAS Receives: DeAndre Jordan, 2018 LAC 1st

This trade makes sense for both parties. DeAndre Jordan is likely on his way out, as is Leonard. DeAndre could go back to his home state and finally play with a stretch big who would allow him to operate in LaMarcus Aldridge. DeAndre could either opt-in to his current deal, or the team could initiate a sign-and-trade.

Meanwhile, the Clippers get Kawhi and only have to part with their star center and a first round pick. This keeps the main core of the team in tact, still leaves them with a lottery pick and gives them a centerpiece to build around. The trade helps give two stars a fresh start in new environments.
