Power Forward: Jabari Parker

I look at Tobias Harris as a SF. That being said, we could use a solid PF to split minutes with Montrezl Harrell (should we resign him). I think that guy is Jabari Parker from Milwaukee. According to Gery Woelfel of the Racine-Journal Times, Parker is likely not returning to the team next season.

With the former #2 overall pick looking for a new home, I can think of very few reasons why the Clippers shouldn’t go after him. First he’s torn an ACL twice. That’s concerning, but he’s still putting up numbers in Milwaukee, so who knows how much it affected him. Parker’s has the potential to be a number 2 guy on a contending roster in the future. It may not work out, but the Clippers aren’t out much if they try it and it fails.

This Free Agent PF group is really good, so here’s an honorable mention: Aaron Gordon. The 2-time Dunk Contest participant was drafted by the Magic and has been there since. I can’t think anyone is really wanting to sign with the Orlando Magic right now, especially a young star. Gordon might resign with the Magic, as they can give him a lot more money than any other team. Both Parker and Gordon are restricted free agents, so it might be kind of difficult to acquire them, but it is very possible.
