One Free Agent at each position that the Clippers should consider

Small Forward: Jerami Grant

Three of the six best SF’s in LeBron James, Paul George, and Kevin Durant are free agents and another one of the six in Kawhi Leonard could be on the move this summer as well. While I’d love the Clippers acquire one of those guys, let’s talk about Jerami Grant instead.

Grant was traded for Ersan Ilyasova a few games into the 16-17 season. Since then, he has been an instrumental part of OKC’s bench. Billy Donovan can put Grant in to guard the opponents best backcourt player, and guard them he does. His floor stretching ability isn’t ideal, but his defense is something any team can get behind. I’m going to be honest, I don’t feel either of Danilo Gallinari or Wesley Johnson are good fits for our team and should be dealt to acquire assets or just to clear up the cap space.
