After a season filled with many ups and downs, Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers talks about his future.

With Wednesday night’s loss, the 2017-2018 season has officially come to a close. With losses of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the identity and culture in Los Angeles went through a drastic rebuild. New injuries presented themselves everyday, and a new starting five was almost expected every night. This Clippers team faced arguably more adversity than any team in the club’s history.

At the helm for his fifth season as head coach was Doc Rivers. The Clippers won 42 games, the lowest in Doc’s time here. Sadly, it was also the first time they failed to make the playoffs under him. It’s easy to point fingers and blame Rivers for how the season turned out. However, given the circumstances he was presented with, you can easily argue this season was one of his better coaching performances.

During the exit interviews, Doc was asked whether or not he wants to finish his coaching career here in Los Angeles.

There is no question that Doc wants to remain in Los Angeles. Arguably the greatest years in the franchise’s history have been under his leadership. His 259 wins are the most in the team’s history. With lots of cap room, promising players, and young talent on the way, it appears Doc wants to try and finish what he started. Rivers already has an NBA championship to his name, but bringing the first title in Clippers history would cement his legacy as one of the all-time Clipper greats.

Let’s see your thoughts on the Clippers potentially bringing Doc back!
