Blake Griffin: A-

Before he was traded to the Detroit Pistons, Blake Griffin was having one of the best seasons of his career. He had started to evolve into a more modern NBA player, making a career-high 64 three-pointers with the Clippers, nearly doubling his previous mark of 38.

He was also more of a facilitator than we’ve seen in the past. Griffin dished out 5.4 assists per game this season, his highest mark since 2015. And while the dunks were still plentiful and beautiful, Griffin had become a great jump shooter.

In the end, though, it was decided that Griffin’s future wasn’t with the Clippers. He didn’t fit Jerry West‘s mold, and was moved for younger and more versatile players.
