Los Angeles Clippers: Grading Every Player’s 2017-2018 Performance
Jawun Evans: B
When he was drafted with the 39th overall pick in last year’s draft, no one really anticipated that Jawun Evans would play as often as he did this season. But he did, and he surpassed his expectations.
Evans was active in 48 games for the Los Angeles Clippers, starting four of them. His speed was tremendous, as was his IQ, which he showed best during one of LA’s matchups with the Houston Rockets. In it, he took several well-timed charges against James Harden that forced Harden out of the game.
Still, the 21-year-old CP3 clone needs time to develop. With his potential, it’ll be interesting to see what Evans has in store for his second season.
