Sindarius Thornwell: A

It would be a crime to use any photo other than this one for Sindarius Thornwell‘s slide, you know.

Thornwell might not have the same eye-popping stats as other rookies, but Thornwell was a consistent presence for the Clippers all season long, and he showed up when they needed him most. In addition, he has the versatility to play/guard several positions on both ends of the floor.

He earned Draymond Green comps when he was drafted, and based on his recent play, it looks like he may be living up to them. After all, Jerry West was responsible for drafting both Green and Thornwell.

I’m not at all saying that Thornwell will be the next Draymond, but the similarities in their style of play and their frames speaks volumes about West’s intentions and hopes for Sin City.
