Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors receive: C DeAndre Jordan, 2020 CLE 2nd round pick
LA Clippers receive: PG/SG Quinn Cook, SG/SF Andre Iguodala, PF/C Jordan Bell, PG Shaun Livingston
Shaun Livingston would return to the team that drafted him, as well as the team he almost sacrificed walking for. Livingston is gold from mid range; if you see him pull up anywhere inside the arch, it’s going in. Outside is a different story, as shot less than one 3 pointer per game this season.
Andre Iguodala has been dubbed “The LeBron Stopper” as he is one of the very few players that have been able to subdue some of The King’s ability. He has grown worse with age though and this season his ability has fallen off a cliff. His shots aren’t falling anymore. He was a vital part of the Warriors 2 championship runs, winning Finals MVP in 2015, but his time on the Warriors is running down.
Jordan Bell was a very nice pickup in the 2017 draft for Golden State. The Chicago Bulls drafted him, but didn’t want to pay him. They shipped him to Oakland for only 3 million dollars. He has been compared to teammate Draymond Green this season as he shares the ability to score, rebound, and pass the ball at the power forward and center position. If he grows his shooting range, he has a bright future in the NBA.
Quinn Cook has recently caught every NBA enthusiasts attention recently. After the Warriors multiple injuries this season, they’ve needed a quality backup guard. The G-League star caught the eye of their front office and now is averaging 10 points and 3 assists.
The one big hole in GSW as a team is the center position. Javale McGee and Zaza Pachulia aren’t cutting it. DeAndre’s rim protection would be incredibly beneficial for the team. He would would be their fifth starter that is an NBA All-Star and he would make them even more daunting for any opponent.
