Winner: Corey Maggette (1) — 87% of votes

It was no contest between Corey Maggette and Mark Jackson. Maggette jumped out to an early lead and ran away with it, receiving 110 of 127 possible votes.

Given his seed in the region, it’s no wonder that Maggette was so dominant. After all, there’s never been a 16 seed that’s defeated a 1 seed (at least in our tournament).

Unfortunately for Jackson, he wasn’t UMBC. And Maggette wasn’t Virginia.
