Danny Manning (5) vs. Baron Davis (12)
And to think that we were just that close to getting Kyrie Irving.
Danny Manning
The Los Angeles Clippers spent their first ever No. 1 overall pick on Danny Manning in 1988, and his stint has to be viewed as a success.
He was a two-time All-Star in his final seasons in Los Angeles, before he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks for Dominique Wilkins.
In his time with the Clippers, he averaged 19.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Baron Davis
Baron Davis spent three seasons in LA, and they were some of the worst of his career. He did throw Blake the alley-oop out of the sunroof of the Kia though. So, he has that going for him.
Currently, you can catch Baron on TNT or NBATV during their Players Only broadcasts.
