The Madness of March is upon us! For NBA fans, not only is it a fun distraction to throw ourselves into the college basketball world of Cinderella stories and low scores, but also an opportunity to see some of the players our Los Angeles Clippers can draft.
For the Clippers this year, we have a strong draft pick thanks to that Detroit Pistons trade and have the opportunity to pick up a nice young player. The pick itself depends on how Detroit does in the standings; they currently sit at 30-37 which puts us in the 10-12 range for the pick. Basically, if the Lakers keep winning and the Hornets decide not to turn on the tank and they both outpace the Pistons, we can get a higher pick.
If you’re anything like me, you sleep on college basketball until it’s tournament time, so it might be nice to have even the smallest sense of what to look for when watching these upcoming games. With that in mind, here is a broad idea of the players that might fall to those picks and where they play and when to watch them in this year’s tournament.
