Winner: Eric Gordon (12) — 77% of votes

UPSET ALERT! Eric Gordon, the 12 seed, has knocked off Eric Piatkowski, receiving 199 of the 259 total votes.

Piatkowski likely received his portion of the vote from the older Clippers audience, given that he hasn’t played for the team since 2003.

On the other hand, Gordon was around during the Blake Griffin era. That must’ve given him a clear edge for newer fans. Recency bias, I guess.

Gordon will have a tough road to the Sweet Sixteen, since he’ll be taking on one of the league’s best shooters in the second round.
