Winner: Ron Harper (8) — 54% of votes
Tied for the most tightly-contested matchup of the first round, Ron Harper barely edged Randy Foye. Harper received 113 of the 210 total votes.
Several fans pointed out on Twitter that this matchup shouldn’t have been this close, and I have to agree. Harper was arguably the best player on the 1991 and 1992 rosters, both seasons the Clippers ended up in the NBA Playoffs.
Foye, on the other hand, never amounted to much in LA. He averaged just over 10 points per game in two seasons.
Harper will have his work cut out for him in the second round, but there’s certainly potential for an upset.
