Los Angeles Clippers’ Fan Favorite Bracket: Shooters Region
Jamal Crawford (2) vs. Marreese Speights (15)
We all know who this one is going to.
Jamal Crawford
Jamal Crawford leaves every team with a legacy, and that’s not by mistake. He’s probably the most down to earth person you’ll ever come across, and he never left Autograph Alley until everyone that wanted his signature got it (and that’s a lot of people). Even before road games, Crawford would make an effort to give Clipper Nation all the love they deserve.
It wasn’t just Crawford’s off-court presence that made fans love him, though. On the court, Crawford is one of the NBA’s deadliest shooters.
Time after time, he would sink unbelievable buckets that words couldn’t describe. There’s basically no such thing as a difficult shot to him. In addition, his crossover move is still lethal, even at age 37.
He may be playing in Minnesota now, but Clippers fans still smile when they see him play.
Marreese Speights
Mo Speights is one of the most puzzling players I’ve ever come across.
At 6’10” and 255 pounds, Speights has a better three-point percentage than most shooting guards. He also took more charges in his one year with the Clippers than your smartphone does in its entire lifespan.
He was fun to watch in LA, but ultimately wasn’t the best fit.
