J.J. Redick (4) vs. Pooh Richardson (13)
One of these guys has one of the purest shooting strokes to date. The other is named Pooh. Both were beloved by Clippers fans, for numerous reasons.
J.J. Redick
Ol’ reliable J.J. Redick could go down as the greatest shooter in Los Angeles Clippers history. He will most certainly go down as the team’s greatest first quarter scorer.
It was Redick’s personality, though (and his looks), that made him a fan favorite. With the exception of his first season in LA, Redick rarely missed a game. He also shot a ridiculous 47.5% from three in the 2016-2017 season, the league’s top mark. It was this same year that Redick gave one of the most memorable three-point contest performances of all time. (Hint: watch his feet)
Pooh Richardson
Pooh Richardson may go down as having the best name in NBA history. Being listed at 6’1″ is generous, but the point guard had some statistically impressive seasons in Los Angeles.
He connected on 38.4% of his threes during the 1995-1996 season, a career-best mark.
