After stepping over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic, the Los Angeles Clippers have a much easier opponent waiting for them in Chicago.

The Bulls have accepted their role as a rebuilding franchise. While they have lost a whopping 43 games in the 2017-2018 season, there have been some bright spots for the Bulls such as Zach Lavine, Bobby Portis, and Lauri Markkanen. Those players will require the most attention from the Los Angeles Clippers’ 15th-ranked defense.

As far as injuries are concerned, Danilo Gallinari will not be playing. His broken hand may require surgery, which means more time away from NBA action. Guard Avery Bradley will also miss the bout with a groin injury. The Bulls are mostly healthy, aside from Paul Zipser missing the past eight games with pain in his left foot. He will not play against the Clippers.

The Clippers have the Bulls beat on paper, and position for position, but every win is important for LA should they desire to make the playoffs. For that reason, even the rebuilding Bulls will require focus and effort from everyone on the Clippers’ roster. Some fun duels to watch in this game include DeAndre Jordan and Bobby Portis in the paint and Tobias Harris and Zach Lavine for their ability to drive inside. In their last meeting, LA bested Chicago 113-103. The newest scorer on the Clippers’ roster, Tobias Harris, grabbed 24 points. He has been fighting for the scoring spotlight against the probable 6th man of the year Lou Williams.

We won’t nitpick over who we prefer to get the most buckets against the Bulls, so long as the Clippers leave Chi-Town with the win.
