Los Angeles Clippers Mid-Season Grades: Wesley Johnson

With the All-Star break behind us, we give mid-season grades to the Los Angeles Clippers’ players. Next up is Wesley Johnson.

Wesley Johnson is a former 1st round, number four pick I had pegged to be in the running for Most Improved Player because believed he could contribute with Blake Griffin finding him with corner three’s and cutting. Wesley Johnson is a very hot and cold player but to start the season he looked to have a swagger about him for the Los Angeles Clippers.

While he might not be picked as high as four in a re-draft, Wes is a great guy and has length to help on the defensive end. He is definitely rebounding from a not so great previous season. Consistency and confidence seems to play a role with Wes sometimes up and down game play.
