With the All-Star break behind us, we give mid-season grades to the Los Angeles Clippers’ players. Next up is Tyrone Wallace.

The Los Angeles Clippers fans were curious when a G-League call-up Tyrone Wallace scored 23 points and 5 assists during a preseason call up to the main roster. Wallace however lost out the last roster spot to C.J Williams at the start of the season.

Due to the Injuries suffered by the Clippers, Wallace finally got his chance with the main roster after averaging 22.8 points,5.3 assists and 6 rebounds for the Agua Caliente Clippers.

Wallace was quick to impress after displaying play making skills, effective off-ball movement and defensive instinct from a 6’5″ rookie. Doc Rivers came to trust the rookie’s ball handling capabilities, allowing Wallace to be placed into multiple spots on the Clippers rotation.

A G-league success story to say the least, the Clippers have found a solid rotational piece in Tyrone Wallace, currently playing major minutes on a young Clippers roster.
