Los Angeles Clippers Mid-Season Grades: Montrezl Harrell

How did two Bs make an A? EXTRA CREDIT. Trezz has been part of the heartbeat of the Clippers’ relentlessness this season. Faced with injury after injury and every reason to quit, Montrezl has been one of the biggest sparks to this teams fire. A season that could have easily been a tank-a-palooza has turned into a tense playoff race. Even after Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, Harrell has kept chugging a long. There have been multiple games this season that the night looks doomed and the starters have gotten killed, the Goon Squad checks in and just like that, the Clips are back in it.

If his heart on the floor isn’t enough, just take a look at his kicks on any given night. Montrezl has one of the best and most unique shoe games in the league chalked full of customs and throwbacks. Anything less than an A for one of the biggest bright spots this season would be criminal.
