Los Angeles Clippers Mid-Season Grades: Montrezl Harrell

With the All-Star break behind us, we give mid-season grades to the Los Angeles Clippers’ players. Next up is Montrezl Harrell.

Montrezl Harrell has been a massive under-the-radar success story for the Clippers this season. He joined the team last summer as part of the Chris Paul trade. He started the season by riding the pine pretty hard, watching Willie Reed get most of the minutes at back-up center for the team. But due to the slew of injuries Harrell started to see some tick and took full advantage of his opportunity.

Grading a player like Montrezl can be a difficult task. When you sit down and just look at his stats nothing really grabs you off the sheet at first glance. Once you dig a little deeper you can start to see his value, but Montrezl is an “eye test All-Star”.
