Defense: C
The Serbian point guard isn’t know for his defensive prowess, but her certainly hasn’t been a disaster defensively. He currently sports a 103.7 Defensive Rating through his 27 games, which is better than you would expect.
Milos doesn’t really impact the game with steals or blocks, but instead with his basketball experience. He definitely gets beat here and there on defense, but he plays solid team defense and isn’t a complete liability on the defensive end. His basketball IQ helps make up for his athletic deficiencies.
All in all, Teodosic being capable on defense is probably a win for the Clippers. Expectations are usually not high for a 30-year-old transitioning from the EuroLeague to the NBA. It will be interesting to see how Milos fairs defensively on the back half of the season.
