Offense – B-
Gallinari was brought to the Clippers in the offseason with the intention of being a scoring starting small-forward. Things were way different (to say the least) for the team back then, and now he finds himself at the starting power-forward position. This position change has been a blessing, allowing the previously mentioned 16+ point games to occur. It has kept the hope alive for an offensively successful season for Gallinari to happen.
Currently, Gallinari is averaging 16 points on 41.2% shooting. If more than 18 games were under his belt, his mid-season offensive grade might be higher, but it will take more time to truly see just how effective Danilo Gallinari can be as a scoring option for the 2017-2018 Clips. His improvement as of late tempts the support of a playoffs-run for the Clippers rather than choosing to tank (don’t fine me for mentioning “tanking” please).
