Los Angeles Clippers Mid-Season Grades: Tobias Harris

Offense – A-

For the season, Tobias Harris is averaging a career high three-point percentage. He’s shooting an outstanding 40.2% from deep. He’s doing this while also attempting a career high 5.7 attempts. This rise in shooting attempts and percentage is allowing him to have a career high 18 points per game. His shooting also allowed him to be a participant in the Three-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend. Despite not winning, he had a good showing on the national stage.

His two assists per game also helps to fill in for some of the production lost by the departure of Blake Griffin. If he could learn to play out of the high post and feed DeAndre Jordan on some lobs, it could open up his offensive game even more.

Tobias’ size has allowed him to slot in both the 3 and 4 positions. He has the ideal build of a combo forward and his abilities to both score off the dribble and shoot the long ball fit the prototypical small ball mold.
