Celebrity Veterans

Anthony Anderson (ABC’s “black-ish”)

First up is All-Star Celebrity Game regular Anthony Anderson. Making his fourth celebrity All-Star appearance, look for Anderson to bring his experience and veteran leadership off the Team Clippers bench. In 2016, Anderson’s last appearance, he finished with a disappointing, team-low one point. Hopefully Anderson can rebound from his 2016 performance for Team Clippers.

Brandon Armstrong (actor, social media star)

Up next is the 2017 All-Star Celebrity Game MVP. The infamous NBA impersonator did his best DeAndre Jordan impersonation in last years contest, racking up 16 points and 15 rebounds. The former D-League player will be a focal point for Team Clippers offense.

Win Butler (Arcade Fire)

Adding to Team Clippers’ stacked lineup in is 2016 All-Star Celebrity Game Game MVP Win Butler.  History will be made as Butler and Armstrong will become the first pair of consecutive celebrity game MVPs to team up in Celebrity All-Star Game history. In 2016, Butler helped seal the win (pun intended) for Team Canada adding 15 points and a game-high 3 steals. The Arcade Fire front man looks to improve to 3-0 in celeb games.

Jamie Foxx (actor, singer, musician)

For the first time since 2003, Jamie Foxx makes his return to the All-Star Celebrity Game. Foxx was named to the 2007 game, but did not appear due to a scheduling conflict, blame it on the Goose, I guess. The multi-talented performer is definitely a wildcard for Team Clippers, but he looks to be taking his game pretty seriously; Foxx reportedly spent his Valentine’s Day playing basketball with rumored love interest Katie Holmes.

 Common (actor, recording artist)

The most experienced celebrity on Team Clippers is Common, who will make his seventh celebrity game appearance Friday night. Common will look to make an impact both on the court and off it, serving as an assistant coach for Nolan’s squad. The musician-turned-actor sports a 4-2 record in these games, and if the movie “Just Wright” is any indication, Common can hit a shot with a game on the line.
