No. 5

Griffin, Reed, Teodosic, Wallace, L. Williams (23.7, 3-1)

We’re going to ignore the fact that the team went 3-1 with this lineup and focus on one win in particular.

Jan. 15 became one of the pettiest days in NBA history  when Chris Paul, James Harden, Trevor Ariza, and Gerald Green snuck through a tunnel that linked the locker rooms in order to confront Rivers and Griffin.

For one thing, Rivers didn’t even play that game. He just talked trash from the bench. Griffin, on the other hand, had a monster performance against his former teammate. He went off for 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in a winning effort over the Houston Rockets.

The starters were in tune from beginning to end, and for a while there, everyone was looking forward to a Clippers – Rockets playoff series.

Reed played just nine minutes, paving the way for Harrell to record 32. However, when this unit was on the floor together, the dominance was clear.
